JAMES L. PALMER
Jim has experience in a broad array of legal matters, which range from general business and estate planning to trial practice in the areas of insurance defense and complex litigation. He is also experienced in the fields of employment and labor law as well as probate and corporate matters. He prides himself on being a true general practitioner who brings experience and skill to any task that he addresses. He has specialized in estate planning for small and medium-sized estates, with a focus on avoiding probate.
He is active in the community. He represents various not-for-profit agencies and has served on not-for-profit agency boards. He has been a member of the adjunct faculty of Quincy University for a number of years and also served the community and his profession by being a member of the Inquiry and Hearing Panels of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission for a number of years. Jim is also active in various professional associations and is a member of the Adams County Bar, Illinois State and Missouri State Bar Associations as well as the American Bar Association. He is active in the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, Defense Research Institute and is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.
