Bill concentrates his practice in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and related litigation. He works closely with his clients and their loved ones to create and implement life and death plans that allow the clients to age with dignity, respect and peace of mind. He is an author and lectures frequently on Elder Law and Estate Planning topics. Bill writes and distributes a publication called: Elder Law Matters and is a volunteer instructor at John Wood Community College. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Bill is also active in his community and parish family. He volunteers his time for various organizations including: Transitions of Western Illinois (for the disabled), board member, Illinois Task Force for Senior Fairness, Junior Achievement volunteer instructor, Quincy Notre Dame High School Capital Campaign co-chair, and John Wood Community College Foundation board member. Bill teaches Sunday school and is on the St. Peter Pastoral Council and the parish Stewardship Team. As an Eagle Scout, Bill's life goal is to live out the Scout Oath. He can still recite the oath that concludes by stating that he will "keep himself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight." Bill was also recently inducted as a “Top 25 Player in the Past 25 Years” for the Quincy University Soccer program. Outside of the office and his volunteer work, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife & three children.
